Catching Up Part 2

In April I was able to go on a girls weekend with all the married girls on my mom's side of the family.  I was horrible at taking pictures and didn't get one with all my family, but here were a couple I got!
This is a picture of my mom, me, my sister-in-law Kimberly, and my sister Melanie!  My 12 year old sister Laurie is the only girl sibling missing (well, except for a future sister-in-law from my 14 year old brother as well).  I sure love all of them!
My sister, Melanie, and I at the condo we stayed at!  I had a blast at the get away and hope it becomes an annual thing!

Both Rob and I volunteered for Isaac and Eden's field day at their school this year.  Rob went with the Kindergarteners and I helped with the elementary.  I've got to figure out how to download the pictures from my phone of the elementary one, but here are some from the Kindergarten field day!
Isaac is the tiny, blond head straight back.  The tall lady with dark hair on the right was Isaac's kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Revo.  We loved her!  She was fabulous with Isaac and helped him to have a great year!  He struggled a little with separation anxiety, and I think he would have gotten as bad as Eden had it not been for her!  I hope EmmaLee gets her next year!
Isaac in line with all the AM kindergarten!

I thought I took more Easter pictures, but I guess not!  So, here are the couple I got!
EmmaLee in her Easter dress.  Eden had the same dress, and I think I was trying to get a picture of all of them, but somehow it didn't happen!  The candy necklace and bracelets were from the Easter Bunny!
This is all the grandkids on my side of the family (except Caydin).

The rest of the pictures are just random pictures.
I just LOVE this picture!  It makes me think of a picture of my older brother, Nick, when he was about this age!
We took a ride up a nearby canyon before all the snow melted, and Eden decided she wanted to climb this snow bank.  The only problem was that she hadn't brought a coat!  So, she borrowed Ammon's!  So yes, those are the white sleeves of her shirt from the elbow down!!
Maybe it's because they are only less than 14 months apart, but Isaac and EmmaLee have always had a cute relationship with each other!  Again, this picture reminds me of a picture of my brother and I when we were little!
My kids love the Aquarium in Sandy!
Finally, a few months ago we took a ride and saw the "Up" house in Herriman.

Starting to Catch Up!

I have a lot to catch up on these last few months!  I'm going to start with Ammon's second birthday, which was in May.
We set up a bubble machine, which the kids enjoyed!
 Ammon loves to pop bubbles!
Ammon loved all his presents, and it was so fun to see all his facial expressions as he opened them!
He was actually saying "fishy" in this picture!
Ammon is getting way too big way too fast!!
This is a picture of Ammon and his cousin, Alexander, who are only about 2 1/2 weeks apart in age!  My kids' second birthdays are always kind of bitter/sweet to me because I can't help but think that the last birthday we celebrated with Caydin was his 2nd.  It's kind of weird to me to think that all four of my children after Caydin have now celebrated the same birthday that ended up being Caydin's last!

We've been lucky enough to already have gone fishing a few times this year, and with pretty good results!
This was fishing at Lost Creek.  Ammon loves when we catch fish!!  All my kids love eating fish, so we love it when we can bring them home and fry them up!
I love Eden's face in this picture!
 EmmaLee reeling a fish in!
Isaac had no problem being up close and personal with his fish!
Father and son enjoying fishing!!

The pass we splurged on this year was to This is the Place Heritage Park.  It's a fun place to go, and the kids love it!
 Ammon driving the train!
We discovered on this trip that Ammon LOVES riding horses!  His turn got done, and when I took him off, he cried and cried!!  It was a slow day, and there was nobody else in line waiting to ride the ponies, so the lady that worked there let the kids all go again!  Ammon loved it!
Eden's turn to be the conductor!
Eden also enjoys riding the horses!
Emma makes a cute cowgirl, even with her red, hot face!!
She's pretty cute in the train as well!
 Isaac's turn on the horse!
Love the face!!

A Long Time Coming!!

Well, 3 years and 8 months after getting laid off because of the economy, Rob started a new job a week ago!!  He works at Farr's Ice Cream in Ogden doing building maintenance.  It is a get by job while we finish school, but we are so grateful and happy for it!!!!  Just how long has it really been?  Well, I looked up some pictures of my kids from right around when we lost our job, and compared them with current pictures.  Let's take a look!
Here are Eden and Isaac then, ages 4 and 2.
And here is Eden now!  She is 7 years old, but will be turning 8 and will be getting baptized in 3 months!
Here is Isaac now.  He just graduated from Kindergarten.  His 6th birthday is on the 20th of this month!

EmmaLee then, at 1 year and 2 months.
Here is EmmaLee now!  She'll be 5 in August, and will be starting Kindergarten in August as well!
And, here is Ammon now.  He was still a twinkle in our eyes when we lost our job, and here he is now, already 2 years old!
It has been a long road we have traveled for over 3 years!  I can see where the Lord has guided and blessed us, and I am so grateful for those who helped make the path a little less bumpy.  One lesson I have learned is that no matter what happens, life will go on.  You can survive things, even when they are extremely difficult and something you never thought you would have to do or face.  I'm so grateful for my family.  Even when things have been stressful for Rob and I as we've tried to figure out what we needed to do, our kids have been kids!  They learn, grow, laugh, cry, fight, and everything in between!  They have helped me to remember that life can go on even in hard circumstances, and I have learned that the things that really matter and are important, especially in the eternal scheme of things are possible no matter what your temporal circumstances!

Where has the time gone?!

How time flies!  So, life is crazy, but hopefully will be getting less crazy for the summer, before it gets crazy again in the fall!  Rob and I finished another semester, and the kids only have about 2 weeks of school left.  I'm still working at their school, but only until next week.  Then I will be starting a new job at the County libraries again!  I was able to get re-hired, but at a different branch, and in a lower position, but if things go well, by the end of this month I will already be able to move back up to my old position, which would be really good!

I'm planning on doing a bunch of post soon to catch up on all that's been going on lately!!
