Busy Weeks!

We have been busy the last 2 weeks! We took a day trip down to the town of Mona and went fishing at these beautiful natural springs (that I of course can't remember the name of!). The kids enjoyed being there, and it wasn't bad fishing either! We also saw two blue herrings (I'm not sure I'm spelling it right!) that were amazing! My nephew Brad was actually casting when one of the big birds flew by and it wrapped around it! We were worried about what was going to happen, but when the bird got to the end of the line, it barely struggled and then broke the line and flew away, much to our relief!!

Then, last Saturday, Eden, Isaac and I visited Antelope Island with my sister-in-law and her daughter. It was a lot of fun, and we saw a lot of wildlife! We drove by a small herd of Antelope (at least, that's what I'm assuming these are!), and at the ranch, we saw a real barn owl and Eden loved looking at the horses! We also saw Buffalo (but not close enough to get a good picture), rabbits, lots of types of birds, and even a fox!! It was a lot of fun!
The day the kids and I went to Antelope Island, Rob was with our nephew at Pineview res. fishing for Tiger Muskie! They went with a professional fisherman who had a nice bass boat, and spent the whole day catching perch, cropie, and yes, they did catch a few tiger muskie as well! Brad, my nephew, caught one first, then Rob caught one, and then at the end of the day, Rob caught another one on his own pole with only 4 lb tess line, which was amazing because the thing weighed 20 pounds and was 39 inches long! He could have kept it if it had been 40 inches, but since it wasn't, he had to throw it back! He forgot our camera, so he had to buy a disposable camera, and I have to figure out how to scan the picture onto the computer so I can post a picture of the thing! It was awesome! Tiger Muskie are not easy or typical to catch, so it was a pretty amazing thing to get two! I'll post pictures as soon as I can of that one!

Spring Activities

A few weeks ago my ward had a mother daughter activity where we went to the Thanksgiving Point Gardens to see the tulips. I went with a ward friend, and this is a picture of Eden and Emmy in front of some of the flowers. It was really beautiful, and it was a gorgeous day and a way fun activity! It's the first mother daughter I've been to with my own daughter, and it was a great experience! The picture of Isaac and Melanie was just cute, so I decided to add it as well. Melanie graduates the beginning of June, and then she's off to Utah State in the fall! How fast time goes!

Fishing Fischers

Well, you can't have a name like Fischer and not like fishing! We were out last week and went fishing on Deer Creek Res. We had one catch, but it got off right at the shore! But, we enjoyed the evening out anyway, and Eden enjoyed throwing rocks in the water and playing in the sand! Fishing was something Caydin enjoyed as well, so we often feel closer to him while we are out and feel like he joins us for the fun!

Caydin

It just didn't feel right to have pictures of Eden and Isaac, but none of Caydin, so I decided to post one of him too! Caydin would have been 4 years old now. I know he is with us often, and I know he watches over us from the other side! Eden has been talking about him more the last few days in ways that she never has before, which makes me think she's been close to him lately. I know he'll always be looking out for his siblings, and I wonder what he's teaching his newest sister!

Friends

I just wanted to add something new, so I thought I'd post this picture of Isaac and Eden. Isaac is finally getting big enough that he and Eden are starting to play a little more together, which has been so much fun! Eden is a great big sister and will roll on the floor with him and talk to him in "his" language! I'm glad to see them getting along so well because when the new baby comes, they're going to need to entertain each other more to help me! Hopefully by then Isaac will be able to at least crawl, maybe even walk. Until then, I guess they'll just roll along together!
