Isaac's Bday and Summer Fun

Isaac celebrated his first birthday on June 20th! These are some pictures taken at a family birthday party for him. Well, we also celebrated my uncle's birthday, and Father's Day at the same time!

Eden was a great big sister in "helping" Isaac open all of his presants! Besides the big family party, we had a little party for him on his actual birthday with just us, and then last Sunday we had another party with Rob's side of the family. It was a lot of fun, and I think Isaac has developed a new sweet tooth for cake!

Do to the increase of tempature of late, we have been trying to find ways to cool ourselves down, and one thing we have purchased was this slip and slide for Eden. She went down it a few times, and then decided it was much more fun to just play in the hose of water coming out of it!

She was filling up sand toys with the water and taking them over to her little brother and transfering the water to another sand toy by him so he could play with water too. She got her dad a few times as well!

This is Isaac playing on the side of the slide, and before his sister brought water over to him. By the time she got done with that, he wasn't nearly so dry, but he didn't seem to mind!

Happy Birthday Isaac! I know what you mean about finding ways to keep cool! We fill up Braden's turtle sandbox with cold water, he plays in the playhouse, and we dip our feet in the water. Sometimes a great water fight starts! Ah the joys of being a stay at home mom!

Way cute pictures of your kids! Eden is always so thoughtful of everyone else and wants them to join in on the fun! How sweet. I'm glad you guys have so much fun celebrating Issac's first birthday! I can't believe how fast the time has gone. Happy Birthday again Issac and soon you'll be able to eat some of Caleb's cake too!

Wow, three kids, and two of them will be babies! I've thought of having two really close like that so you'll have to let me know how it is. Your kids sure are cute, don't you just love being a mom? I'll keep your blog in my email so I can check it occassionaly (sp?)
